A little about me… and why I’m here 🌿

Hi Reader,

Since you and I are going to be meeting here every Wednesday, I figured I should properly introduce myself.

I’m Emily — a spiritual life coach, storyteller, four-leaf clover finder, and former competitive soccer goalkeeper. I’ve worn a lot of hats in my life — athlete, animal rescuer, office manager, people-pleaser — and each chapter has shaped how I see the world and how I help others today.

For a long time, my worth felt tangled up in achievement and being “the strong one.” As a kid and young adult, that meant performing on the field and keeping my emotions in check. Later, it meant working myself to the edge in jobs where I poured into everyone else but left nothing for me. From the outside, it looked like I had it together. Inside, I was exhausted and disconnected from what I really wanted.

In 2025, I walked away from my job without a set plan. It was terrifying — and freeing. I finally had space to unpack old beliefs, heal patterns I didn’t even know I was carrying, and start asking the bigger questions: What do I want my life to feel like? What actually matters to me?

That journey led me here. My goal is simple: to help individuals break free from people-pleasing, old conditioning, and the weight of everyone else’s expectations so they can actually hear themselves again. I believe your life can feel lighter, freer, and more yours — and that you don’t have to wait for some “perfect moment” to start.

Every week in Midweek Mindful Moment, you’ll get a piece of my story, the lessons I’m still learning, and little invitations to reflect on your own life. Think of it like a midweek pause — a chance to breathe, reset, and remember you’re not in this alone.

Reader, I’m glad you’re here.

See you next week,
Emily 🌱

Rooted in Luck Co

Hi, I’m Emily — spiritual life coach, entrepreneur, and friend you just haven’t met yet. I help sensitive, self-aware humans gently unravel old beliefs, heal in real-time, and create lives that feel like home. I believe in raw conversations, quiet courage, and finding magic in ordinary moments — like a four-leaf clover, a sunrise, or choosing yourself for the first time. Here you’ll find tools, books, and soul-centered resources I actually use on my own journey. If you’re growing, unlearning, or just trying to be a little more you — I’d love to walk alongside you.

Welcome Reader, “If your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?” I feel like we all heard that at some point growing up. Usually from a parent. Usually when we wanted to do something they didn’t quite agree with. And the expected answer was always: “No.” Because the point was to teach us independence. To think for ourselves. To not blindly follow the crowd. But I’ve been thinking about this lately… Because as adults, we don’t jump off bridges. We do something much quieter. We follow along in...

Welcome Reader, There’s a phrase we’ve all heard before: misery loves company. And the more I’ve been paying attention to everyday conversations, the more I notice how true it can be. Someone complains about the weather.Someone vents about traffic.Someone shares how exhausting work has been. Before we even realize it, the conversation becomes a small spiral of shared frustration. Not because anyone is trying to be negative — but because it’s one of the quickest ways humans connect. Agreement...

Welcome Reader, Last week, we ended the year gently — no pressure, no resolutions, no sprinting into 2026.Just honesty, softness, and a breath you may not have realized you were holding. This week, I want to take that softness one layer deeper. Because something we don’t talk about enough is this: Not every January arrives with fresh-start energy.Sometimes it arrives carrying everything December left behind. And if your heart feels heavier this week instead of lighter, you’re not doing...
